Deepa Singh has ten years of IT experience that ranges from developing consumer internet to enterprise software application but her real passion lies in sustainable farming techniques. Coming from a family with hundreds of years of history in non-industrial farming, she is a big advocate of eating local and maintaining all sorts of bio-diversity. An avid traveller, she likes hiking in outdoors and reading about different cultures. She holds an MBA from UC Berkeley and MS in Computer Science from RPI,NY

Council Member, City of Fremont. Member of California Federation of Certified Farmers' Markets; Served on City of Fremont Planning Commission; Chair of Tri-City Ecology Center; served as City of Fremont Recreation Commissioner; Attorney at Law in Fremont, CA
